Quench your curiosity at the Lactation Station Breast Milk Bar! Audiences are invited to ‘quench their curiosity’ by tasting samples of pasteurized human breast milk at The Lactation Station Breast Milk Bar, an interactive performance art piece conceived and presented by Jess Dobkin. Participants have the opportunity to sample small quantities of breast milk, donated by local lactating new mothers at this public ‘tasting.’

Atelier d’art vivant - art performance | Sylvie Cotton | Tuesday and wendesday May 29th and 30th | From 10am to 5pm | Agora de la danse | 40$ | Registration necessary | Reservations: info@offta.com
Performance is not only for established artists! To celebrate this live art that is within anyone's reach, Sylie Cotton is offering an artistic worshop for all - no previous training necessary. This intensive one-day workshop is followed by discussions and is structured so that progressively, through warm-up and improv exercices, participants learn to create short performances with the help of precise instructions.
A workshop to follow to try a new experience, to think about our own, others' and the world's presence and actions, to become more familiar with or to develop creativity, to become more sensitive to creation and live art... And especially to find the creative spark that sleeps within us and to free our artistic instinct.
Sylvie Cotton | Sylvie Cotton is an interdisciplinary artist based in Montreal. Her work began in 1997 and is tied to performance, art action, drawing and writing-based practices, although installation forms are also regularly used to put together exhibitions. Her work turns around the creation of situations that establish a relationship with another, or an infiltration of another person’s personal world. Sylvie Cotton is also a writer and curator. She has organized events, directed publications and been a member of many visual arts working groups and committees. She has presented performance work and installations in Quebec and around the world.
Let's hope that these revelations, along with the two events already on sale at the box office of Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui, will keep you satisfied until the great launch on May 3rd...
See you at the launch!
