What is “self”? How does changing the perception of the body affect the idea of “self”?
What happens if the body loses the idea of “self”?
Where does the “self” finish in the space?
How does “self” identify through the lens of “others”?

This is a journey through the landscape of bodies; an immersion into imagination, composing and decomposing movements, a shifting from somatics into moving human sculptures.

Born in Tehran, Mohammadreza is a dance artist based in Montreal and Toronto. His eagerness toward episteme leads him to study physics, dramatic literature, contemporary dance and practicing martial arts such as Wing Chun, escrima and Chi Qong. His experience in performance art spans from choreographing, dancing, acting, singing, and performing. He has worked on butoh, flying low and passing through, as well as rituals and their music as roots of performance art.
