La Grande Fente

The Pop-Up chorégraphie are short pieces created jointly by several dancers and the choreographer Isabelle Boulanger on a Quebec artist song in order to have fun and give free rein to the inspiration of the moment. During the musical evening at the Place Émilie-Gamelin, La Grande Fente will elaborate special new Pop-Up choreographie inspired by one of the songs performed by artists on site.

BIOGRAPHY
Born in Montreal, Isabelle Boulanger wishes to make danse an art accessible by all. She approaches her art with humour, lightness and derision. Her first work Une grande fente pour dire «allô» gives her acces to the 2012-2013 programming of Tange. There, she will present her second creation Fentes-Toi! In 2013, La Grande Fente, company of which she is the artistic director, is invited the Festival Vue sur la Relève to showcase Fentes 1 à 3. Recipient of several awards, the young choreographer is back at Tangente in 2014 with Sans Lactose.
