For one night, the FTA Headquarters transforms into a space of overflow, desire, and collective projection. Inspired by the aura of revolutionary nightlife and channeling the mythic energy of Studio 54, this celebration honors the club as a site of resistance and liberation. In the face of a narrowing reality, the dancefloor becomes charged terrain—where pleasure is power, fantasy is strategy, and joy drives both resistance and the making of new imaginaries.

At the heart of the night: Whacking. Also known as Waacking or Punking, this club dance form was created by queer BIPOC communities on the U.S. West Coast in the 1970s. Here, it asserts itself as a bold language of embodied affirmation, at once theatrical, fiercely musical, and unapologetically radical.

Start your evening with an introductory class led by the electrifying Trey Prince, then surrender to the pulse with sets by BlackGold and NGL Flounce alongside surprise performances.

In keeping with tradition, OFFTA and FTA reunite under the banner of shared pleasure, igniting a safe, incandescent dancefloor where the artistic communities of both festivals converge.
