Mellissa Larivière, artistic director of Zone Homa, has been given a carte blanche to imagine what the performing arts scene could become. A selection of artists from varied backgrounds (theatre, dance, performing arts) work together in order to create a portrait of emerging artistic and contemporary tendencies in Montreal.

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE – Mellissa Larivière
Melisssa completed her studies in acting at the École nationale de théâtre du Canada in 2011. A performer as well as a creator, she also developed various initiatives providing creative tools for the emerging artist. For the past six years, she has been the general and artistic director of Zone Homa, an experimental and creative festival that takes place in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. She is also part of V.H.S. - Van Horne Station project - a unique space that provides monthly residencies to emerging talents.
