It is about the inconsistency of our mind, the image of a dying civilization devoid of any authentic philosophical basis, fallen prey to illusions projected on screens.  Working with paper as a material to transform, this choreographic duo explores the effects of discourses circulating in the media and in the political landscape in the last several decades.

Of Iranian origin and trained in French educational institutions, Nasim Lootij and Kiasa Nazeran founded Vâtchik Danse in Montreal in 2016. Their sources of inspiration include the art and socio-political history of their country of origin, Iran); current political issues; modern artistic trends of the early twentieth century, including German expressionism of the 1920s. Having toured with their previous projects Moi-Me-Man (2017) and La Chute (2019), this is their third choreographic project.
