L’incroyable histoire de la file infinie
Pénélope et Chloë + Simon Thomas
Initially conceived to be set in public space, the project unfolds here through an online version. L’incroyable histoire de la file infinie tells the incredible story of the creation of the queue by Jean File himself.
A tale for all.
The Montreal-based duo Pénélope et Chloë has been working since 2014 on inventing pop-coloured textile installations and soft sculptures. Belgian writer and director Simon Thomas elaborates an aesthetic of dark comedy informed by his passion for absurd humour, cartoons, comics and wildlife documentaries. Invited by LA SERRE — arts vivants, these three artists pool their skills, intuitions and merry impulses to give us a never-before-seen participative piece.
